SEMA 2010: Tjin Edition Ford Mustang Announced

September 8th, 2010 Laguna Niguel, CA – Tjin Edition continues to push the envelope and step outside the box with their latest project, a brand new 2011 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT. Over the past 7 years, Tjin Edition has partnered with some of the top OEM manufacturers in the world including Chevy, Pontiac, Scion, and Honda; this year for the first time ever Tjin Edition will be joining forces with Ford Motor Company.

Tjin Edition led by Neil, Mei, Gene, and Collin Tjin along with Brian Garin and Mike Hyun from Real Auto Works in Long Beach, California will have their hands full as they are completely transforming a brand new black 2011 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT for this years SEMA show.

“aLL STaR Performance is proud to announce their partnership with General Motors for the 2010 SEMA Show and the 2011 season.

aLL STaR Performance, led by Gene Marcel will be designing and building a truly unique 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS, which will make its debut at the 2011 SEMA Show. Marcel and his team are no strangers to the car customizing world, having started out in South Florida in the late 90′s and now continuing in Southern California. Since 1996, Gene and his team have been involved with a wide variety of automobiles ranging from two high profile Bomex Honda Accords to their latest 2010 project, an Infiniti G37 Coupe. In between those builds, the guys from aLL STaR have also designed, built and toured a tuner style Scion xB, a Euro styled Volvo S40, a VIP themed Infiniti G35, as well as a 2006 and 2009 Honda Fit.

Gurnade and Tjin Edition Design Scion tC

In light of the recent release of the new Scion tC, Gurnade and Tjin Edition have teamed up to design their own interpretation of the new Scion coupe.  Due to the newly fashioned sculpted roof, the car has been outfitted with wide box-like fenders, aggressive front fascia, and matching sideskirts.  Although, the design doesn’t stop there!  To complete the look, the roof was chopped nearly 4 inches, and the rear windows were extended to visually lengthen the car.  Deep-dish DPE wheels, Status racing seats, harness bar, custom grille, Webasto sunroof, HID headlights, and slammed stance thanks to Air Lift suspension also add to the visual appeal and design.

SEMA 2009: Bowls Tuner Challenge Scion xB

Southern Cali based lifestyle boutique has been chosen by Scion as one of the participants in this years xB Tuner Challenge.  What they have come up with is this neat streched truck inspired by an old 1970 Toyota Crown pickup.  Definitely a head turner.  Check out the rest of the ride after the break.

With Sema 2009 going on right now figure would be appropriate to post some cars from SEMA.  Anthony Mair recently got contracted by Lexus to do a photoshoot on 6 cars that were headed to SEMA.  It was a hectic day of shooting for him but lots of red bull and what he has is some great photos to show.  More photos from the shoot after the break.

SEMA 2009: Leather Exterior?

SEMA is notorious for cars coming out of the woodwork sporting all new trends, designs and builds.  This sporty minivan is aggressive in its own right, dumped to the ground with a nice kit.  From afar it almost looks like it's sporting flat red paint, but the diamond-stitching on the hood raises eyebrows.  A closer look pulls off that the entire car has been rewrapped with leather.  Thoughts?  Close up photo after the jump.

Debut: Tjin Edition RoadShow Chevy Camaro SS

The Tjin Edition RoadShow Chevy Camaro SS in conjunction with General Motors and Real AutoWorks will be debuting in the Air Lift booth (#23633) at the SEMA show on November 3rd, 2009.

With SEMA quickly approaching, the Tjin Edition RoadShow team, led by Neil Tjin, received their brand new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS with less than 20 miles on the odometer. Having planned out the design well before the arrival, Neil and the team at Real AutoWorks in La Habra, CA got right to work and within a days had the LS3 motor pulled, the interior completely gutted and the rest of the car taken disassembled.  Rest of the release and some more photos after the jump.

To enhance the tunability of its most dynamic performance car ever, Hyundai has teamed up with GReddy Performance Parts to manufacture products for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. These high-performance parts will be displayed on the "GReddy X-Gen Street Genesis Coupe" show car at SEMA 2009. The vehicle from GReddy is designed for the enthusiast looking to make modifications for daily driving or a weekend at the track. All of the GReddy parts designed for the Genesis Coupe are planned to be released as a production kit and available for enthusiasts everywhere. The vehicle will be on display at the Hyundai booth at the SEMA Show in the Las Vegas Convention Center from Nov. 3 - Nov. 6, 2009 (Booth # 24387).

GM Design Camaro Winners List Leaked!

The 2010 Camaro is one of the hottest cars on the scene right now and one that no doubt will be the “it” car at this year’s SEMA Show. Now while anyone can head down to the showroom floor of their local Chevy dealer and pick one of these bad boys up, only a very select few individuals will be chosen by the GM Design Team to build a custom Camaro on behalf of General Motors. In total, eight Camaros will be delivered to the designers that won the design contest with a mix of V6 and V8 model renderings being selected.  More info and list of winners after the break.

As the 2009 SEMA Show ticks ever closer, the decision makers at GM have to decide which top car designers are going to receive one of the only seven Camaros to make into their own custom masterpiece.
