Martin P of Bilbilder.se got a hold of a Audi R8 for halloween weekend and got some pretty sweet pics of this black beauty.  I always find it difficult to shoot black cars, since its always so hard to see all the lines of the car.  Martin was able to capture the lighting perfectly, really showing off the beauty.  More pics from the shoot after the break.

Sneak peek: 2010 Audi R8 Spider

After nearly two month of spy photos and appearance of the Spider R8 on the set of Iron Man II,  the car has finally been exposed with some pics surfacing online.  Styling wise looks like the spider will not get the trademark R8 side blades and small changes such as placement of the gas cap due to lack off rear pillars.  The Engine is still unknown at this point, but rumors indicate the spider will get a V10 power Plant, only time will tell when it's officially unveiled at the Frankfurt show.

Matte Gold Audi R8

Seen roaming around the streets of Dubai is this sweet matte gold Audi R8.  We've seen lots of flashy shiny gold vehicles coming out of Dubai, its nice to see a change to a muted matte finish.  This R8 sure turns heads without the bling.  One more pic after the break.

These figures make the hearts of sports car drivers beat faster: 600 HP (441 kW), acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, top speed of 322 km/h. The car to which these impressive performance figures belong is the ABT R8 5.2 FSI. Its V10 engine draws plenty of power from its large 5,204 cubic centimetre capacity – all the more if ABT POWER gives it an extra boost. 75 extra HP or 55 more kW provides a powerful trust at all speeds as well as increasing the torque.  Full release after the jump with a couple more photos.

Random Pic: Carbon PPI Razor R8

I was browsing the web last night and came across this Audi R8 by PPI Called the Razor GTR.  It's one of those cars that just makes you go wow and take notice.   PPI did an amazing job on the car, they have completely changed the car with a full carbon fiber body.  In it's process shaving about 550lbs from the stock configuration.  This is how the R8 should have looked from the factory!

Ok, this must be a joke, or it's pretty sad if someone actually did this intentionally.  A BMW emblem is even seen in the engine bay. I am digging the flat gray paint though!

PES Supercharged R8 Dyno'd

The PES R8 finally got strapped on the dyno'd to see what kinda numbers the new supercharger kit puts out.  The results are pretty impressive, putting down a 469hp/365ft lb to the wheels, video of the dyno run after the break.
