Platinum Motorsport Builds Matte Blue Porsche Panamera

Platinum Motorsport has been doing some crazy builds lately, from Chad OchoCinco's Rolls-Royce Phantom to this Matte Blue Porsche Panamera.  We've seen plenty of matte black and matte white cars surfacing, but there's no denying that this matte blue Panamera is simply stunning.  Like all their builds, they gutted the car including the glass, painted the car matte blue and rewrapped the headliner in blue alcantara.  Top that off with a nice set of wheels and a perfect lowering job, and this Panamera Turbo's going places.

Hofele-Design Introduces Porsche Panamera Rivage GT 970

The Porsche Panamera from the get-go was supposed to be a groundbreaking luxury sedan that changed the face of all luxury sedans. So far it's done an interesting job - spurring rivals Aston Martin to release the Rapide and Bentley to revisit their sedan collection. Perhaps Rolls-Royce's Ghost was a way to steal a little bit of Porsche's thunder. But regardless, the aftermarket has also done a great job embracing Porsche's Panamera. Left and right we've been seeing tuning programs for it, and here's just another one to add to the list. It's a tad bit on the aggressive side, especially the rear; but the front is clean and flows well with the rest of the body. Check out more photos after the jump and the official press release.

Earlier this year we were fortunate enough to head over to Tokyo, Japan for the Tokyo Auto Salon.  That's the first time we laid eyes on Fairy Design's Porsche Panamera and quite frankly couldn't get enough of it.  The brand we had never heard of even with its peculiar name, but it was by far the nicest body kit we've seen yet for the Porsche Panamera.  There's something about Japanese-styling on European cars that is sure to be a huge hit in the coming years.  Check out more photos of this wicked Panamera after the break.

Rusnak Auto Group Unveils Jaguar XJ, Rolls-Royce Ghost and Porsche Panamera

I was fortunate enough to cover A Night of Luxury presented by the Rusnak Auto Group tonight.  Several much anticipated debuts were made at the event starting with the Jaguar XJ then onto the Rolls-Royce Ghost and finally the Porsche Panamera.  After months of staring at photos of all three of these cars, it was quite the experience to see each of them in person before they hit the dealership lots.  The Panamera was by far the most anticipated of the night and I have to say it looks much better in person than in photos.  The Ghost wasn't too shabby either, but having Miss California around did help.  The car is impressive though in person.  Check out more photos after the jump!

Jon Sibal: Tuned Panamera

I've honestly been digging the Porsche Panamera ever since the first set of photos were released for it.  I've always had a thing for sedans, even though I don't always put myself in the driver seat of one.  But checking out the Panamera I just love how it has Porsche's natural styling cues, lines and overall theme... packed in a sedan.  I'm digging it way more than the MBZ S-Class or even the CLS.  But that's just me - anyways, Jon Sibal has always been a huge favorite of mine and his renderings are beyond top notch.  I caught a glimpse of this on his deviantART profile and just had to share it with the Motiv readers.  I'm excited to see what will come from this car.  Jon's comments on his rendering after the jump.

Porsche Panamera makes World Debut in Shanghai

Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, presented the Panamera to the world public today at the 13th Auto Shanghai. Joining the 911, the Cayenne, and the Boxster/Cayman, this new four-door Gran Turismo is Porsche's fourth model series, with three variants entering the market in Germany on 12 September 2009. The Panamera is making its debut as an eight-cylinder delivering 400 and, respectively, 500 horsepower and with both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, a six-cylinder gasoline model and a hybrid version following later.  Rest of the release available after the jump.
