Sean Klingelhoefer: Nissan GT-R

A little while back, Sean Klingelhoefer got a change to do a shoot the world champion LA Laker's center Andrew Bynum's Nissan GT-R for the cover of Super Street Magazine. Sean intentionally shot very low key to accentuate the clouds and I gotta say it work out great, definitely gives the whole photoshoot a dark gritty mood!  For more pics click after the break, or pick up the latest issue of Superstreet!

Password JDM Nissan GT-R Dry Carbon Wide Front Fenders

Password:JDM has just released their new widebody front fender made out of 100% dry carbon fiber for your Nissan GT-R. These kevlar reinforced dry carbon fenders took 200+ days of development. From a spark of an idea, to painstaking clay modelling to final product.

The main goal was to lighten the front end and assist in eliminating understeerand have the capability to fit 20×11 inch wheels in the front.   The front has been widened by a full 38mm wider at the front without changing the lines of the car. Fender vents were also widened to help get air out of the wheel well area and the front side markers are replaced with carbon inserts. The whole fender is also signicantly lighter that stock.

Price is $3899.99

The Tommy Kaira Areo kit is slowly coming along.  Here are some new pics from the development process.  Looks like things are getting a little fine tuned, new vents have been opened up in the front bumper and the side also gets some vents.  Looks like this will turn out to be a pretty sweet kit.  More pics after the break.

SP Engineering Rise of the GTR

SP engineering has released the first of their two films showcasing SP Engineering's involvement in the world of the Nissan GTR. SP Engineering has been modifying/tuning these hardcore Japanese muscle cars for over 10 years.  With the recent release of the R35 GTR, SP has become widely known for their precision installs, motor work, and rigorous dyno tuning from across the nation.  Check out the video after the break.

Random Pic: Carbon PPI Razor R8

I was browsing the web last night and came across this Audi R8 by PPI Called the Razor GTR.  It's one of those cars that just makes you go wow and take notice.   PPI did an amazing job on the car, they have completely changed the car with a full carbon fiber body.  In it's process shaving about 550lbs from the stock configuration.  This is how the R8 should have looked from the factory!

Well know tuner Tommy Kaira is well known for their lineup of complete built cars, and looks like they are in full development with the GT-R to add to their list of tuned cars.  The car will feature mostly FRP parts, but with some dry and wet carbon pieces also.  The aero pieces will include everything from front bumper to new upper wing, and a super aggressive diffuser.  More development pics after the break.

Trust and Garage Saurus 822whp GTR

Trust and Garage Saurus with the install of a Greddy TD06-20G kit plus Bosche Injectors managed to pump out 822hp to all four wheels and this is all done with 22psi of boost.  Pretty amazing if you asked me!  Congrats to the guys at Saurus and Trust!

Sean Klingelhoefer posted this sweet photo of this Greddy GTR R35 on dieselstation, after clicking through to his blog I learned that this was a composite of 2 photos.  The car was shot by Wes Allison and Sean took the background.  Through a little photoshop magic he was able to transform the 2 image into one sweet photo that will be used for the Super Street Calendar.  More photos after the break, and if your interested check out his blog for the full edit process steps
