Carlsson C25 - One to Die For

It seems Carlsson has reached new heights on this transformed C25 that sports over 700 hp with twin turbo power.  The Halloween theme throughout the inside and outside is unique and definitely fitting for the menacing project that resembles an aggressive widebody and look that never seems to find its way off the Mercedes-Benz production line.  Based on the SL600, this is one of the unique times where concept went to reality and executed perfectly.  More photos after the jump.

Carlsson who are approved as an automobile manufacturer by the Federal German Motor Transport Authority, for the first time presents an own developed automobile at this year’s Geneva Motor Show – the Carlsson C25. The concept of this Super-GT is based on the vision of combining maximum driving performance with an entirely new design and high exclusiveness. The result is a breathtaking and beautiful sports coupé with 753 hp in a limited edition of only 25 cars world-wide. Thereby, each automobile will be as individual as its future owner. “We exclusively make the cars to order and the delivery quantity for 2010 is already sold out”, says CEO, Dipl. Ing. The most dynamic business limousine by Mercedes-Benz is the E 63 AMG. The company AMG which is located in Affalterbach skilfully combines 525 hp (386 kW) with very luxurious interior equipment. But for Carlsson this was neither dynamic nor luxurious enough. The automobile manufacturer from Merzig / Saarland presents the new E-CK63 RS based on the E 63 AMG and thereby discloses the technical possibilities.

The core part of the refinement is the entirely re-engineered V8-engine. The Carlsson engineers accomplished to boost the performance from 525 hp (386 kW) to impressive 585 hp (430 kW) without changing the cubic capacity of 6.3 liters. Also, the Mercedes specialists from Merzig increase the maximum torque from 630 to 695 Newton metres. With a perfected motor management, an optimised exhaust system and most accurate adjustments, the E-class top model by Carlsson accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in only 4.5 seconds. This is three tenths of a second less than the acceleration values of the E 63 63 AMG.

Carlsson Mercedes E Class W212 tuning

The new E-class by Carlsson celebrates its world premiere at the Tuning World Bodensee in Friedrichshafen from April 30th until May 3rd 2009. With the new E-class, the automobile manufacturer has combined sportiness and elegance to a harmonic symbiosis.

In former times, thorough-blood race-horses where bred at Gut Wiesenhof in Merzig/Saarland – today it is the Carlsson headquarter and production location for the new sportive Carlsson E-class. Carlsson transfers this history-laden origin to the new model of the upper medium-class.
