Emotion Wheels BMW E92 M3 Pushes Over 700 hp, Tosses Out Stock V8

Back in 2002, I decided to repaint my Civic a BMW Steel Gray and pull out the factory B16 and drop in an LS/VTEC hybrid motor. Back then that made my car a hybrid - not so much what the term means today. Instead of saving gas, we were guzzling it away for more and more horsepower. So deep down inside, we're just enthusiasts looking for more horsepower, not saving gas; and the best way to do that is to grab a motor from a bigger brother and put it in a smaller, lighter chassis.

That's exactly what Emotion Wheels did with this BMW E92 M3. Keeping it nice and subtle on the exterior, they shoved in the twin-turbo motor from the BMW X5 M / X6 M into the engine bay of the BMW E92 M3. Out went the V8 and in went the twin-turbo monster. And with a forced induced motor, it wasn't difficult for them to up the horsepower to well over 700. We can only imagine how fun this car is to drive. Check out more photos after the jump.

BMW E92: Sharpie Art

Our friend Reggie over at MW Design Technik got into a minor accident in his beautiful E92.  Since he's getting a replacement fender for his car, he decided to have a little fun with it.  He handed a sharpie over to his buddy and two hours later a work of art was done.  Definitely original and unique, but you have to give credit to his friend - this is some talented stuff.  More pics after the jump.

Mustard Yellow E92 M3

I'm a huge fan of unique paint colors on cars.  I love it when owners go big and bold, doing something to really set their car apart from the crowd.  I ran across this E92 M3 sporting an interesting Mustard Yellow finish.  At first I wasn't too sure about it, but it's really grown on me.  It's reminiscent of the unique yellowish/gold/green color that the E46 M3s sported.  Perhaps BMW will take some hints and give E92 owners a unique color to choose from.  Couple of more photos after the jump - your thoughts on the color?

Feature Car: Jason Siu's BMW E92 335i

Since I'll be doing an upcoming feature of my car on www.tunerzine.com soon, I figured I'd post up a sneak preview of it and the build up process of the car.  The car currently sports a full M-Tech kit with Hamann Competition front spoiler (MW Design Technik), H&R coilovers, 20x8.5/20x10-inch Work Wheels VS-XX with a gold center and gloss black lips, Falken FK452 tires, AC Schnitzer roof and trunk spoiler (MW Design Technik), match painted grilles, Magnaflow exhaust, Berk Technology downpipes, Burger Tuning JB3 and Active Autowerke blow-off valve.  Inside there is a full stereo done up with Pioneer goods.  The complete write-up along with photos from different stages of the car after the jump.

BMW E92 Rig Photo Edit

I promised to do a more detailed walk through on a rig edit and had some time tonight as I was cleaning up another photo from a shoot of my car.  I'm still not sold on the final photo yet, but going to get some feedback and criticism prior to finalizing it for posting on the feature.  Overall I'm pretty happy with it and you'll see after the jump what I had to work with in the beginning and what steps I did to get the result I wanted!
