Aston Martin Special Edition Carbon Black

Celebrating the enormous success of the DBS and V12 Vantage which have surpassed all sales expectations since launch, the new special editions add a typically understated flair to these acclaimed models. Featuring bespoke Carbon Black metallic paint especially formulated with a subtle metallic twist to create a deep rich patina. Each car will undergo 50 man-hours of hand painting followed by stringent quality checks. For the V12 Vantage the iconic Aston Martin side strake has been fashioned from real carbon fibre backed by a black mesh and complimented with gloss black 10 spoke diamond turned alloy wheels. A bright finished grille and front parking sensors (normally an option) complete the exterior detailing.

MWDesign ups the ante on the already beautiful Aston Martin V8 Vantage with a well thought out aerodynamic and performance upgrade package.

Appropriately named Helvellyn Frost, this frozen matte white ...Aston takes its name from a mountain range in England. This mountain epitomizes romance and beauty with a dash of treachery just as this V8 Vantage does.

The Aston Vantage is undoubtedly a stunningly beautiful car straight from the factory. To enhance her looks without becoming ostentatious, every curve had to be considered. It is a very easy process to add aftermarket parts to these cars, but also very easy to disturb the balance of beauty, proportion and classiness.

Aston Martin Elite LMV R

Final concept images have just been released for the 2010 Aston Martin LMV/R (Le Mans Vantage Racer). Only 30 of these race cars for the street will be produced for the world. Following in the footsteps of the Ferrari Scuderia and Stradale and Lamborghini Superleggera, the Elite LMV/R is lighter than the factory Vantage due to most of the body panels being made from carbon fiber. The Scuderia, Stradale and Superleggera were built for the purists who wanted a race car for the street, a more nimble version of the production street car that they were built from. These cars aren’t for everybody due to their harsher ride and loud exhaust systems. This is the company that the LMV/R will now be amongst but even more rare and special. The Superleggera’s US production was 172 cars, the Ferrari Stradale seen 1,288 examples built and the Scuderia production is supposed to top out at about 1,500 cars. Compare these production numbers to the 30 LMV/R’s that will be built and you can see how special and rare the LMV/R will truly be.

The Aston Martin is one of those luxury supercars we tend to not hear enough about.  Ferrari and Lamborghini take up most of the spotlight, but there's no denying the exoticness and sportiness of the Aston Martin.  In fact, I would vote that Aston Martin's are the most function in terms of daily drivers out of all the exotics.  Titan Motorsports had the pleasure of servicing this ESX supercharged Vantage that they've nicknamed "SuperVantage".  It received a pulley upgrade and additional tuning.  More pics of this beauty after the jump.

Jon Sibal: Aston Martin DB-S Stilettos

What better way to accessorize your vehicle and personal charm, or trophy wife, with a set of stilettos?  The Lamborghini Gallardo has shoes designed by Tim Cooper and even the OPEL Agila sports a high-heel designed shoe.  Jon Sibal worked his creative magic to come up with a rendering for an Aston Martin DB-S Stiletto and we just had to show it off.  Creatively it's one of the most unique designs we've ever seen, especially for a shoe.  The work is immaculate, as is anything that comes from Jon Sibal's creative mind.  Perhaps someone will make them into a reality?

When it comes to building a car, attention to detail is what really sets one car apart from another.  One small item often overlooked is the gas cap/lid.  I was recently browsing through the web and came upon a beautiful gas cap from a Lamborghini Reventon.  It was like a work of art! So I decided to dig further and see what other cool gas caps there are out there.  My top 10 after the break.

New Aston Martin V12 Vantage Photos

Aston Martin has released new photos of its new V12 Vantage.  At first glance the big difference you will notice is the addition of the hood louver.  But deep down inside the Vantage is power by a 6 liter V12 giving it an output of 510hp and 420lb-ft torque and will get you to 60 in just 4.2 seconds.  The new vantage gets a little weight savings also from pieces like a carbon fiber drive shaft, all this to offset the weight of the new engine.  It does come close to 100lb of the V8 Vantage.  Not too shabby.  More pics after the break.

Aston Martin One-77

At this year's Geneva Motor show, Aston Martin debut the chassis of the One-77 but it was quickly pulled so that the interior and rest of the bodywork could be completed/added.  The first fully completed One-77 debut out on the shores of Italy's Lake Como and it is looking absolutely gorgeous on the outside and the inside.  The interior is extremely stylish while staying true to Aston Martin's luxurious theme.  The contrasting white most certainly makes for an interesting combination.  Check out additional photos after the jump.
