It looks like with the inclusion of a fancy scene with Tony Stark piloting a fancy open-wheel racecar in the upcoming movie, Iron Man 2, that Royal Purple has jumped on the opportunity to co-brand with Marvel to create the Stark Motor Racing Team. Except in reality. Five drivers, from five different racing demographics, will be campaigning Iron Man 2, Royal Purple and Stark logo placement on their fast rides for 2010, including Stephen Verdier and his wicked drift Subaru. Other drivers and riders from Stark Motor Racing Team include Melissa Paris, AMA Road Racing, Joey Stathas, Monster Trucks, David Hope, NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycles and Chris Prey, Grand Am Road Racing. Real interesting marketing campaign and kudos to whomever came up with it.
